24-Hour Dosa-Making World Record

Chef Vishnu Manohar embarked on an extraordinary culinary journey by attempting a 24-hour non-stop dosa-making record at Vishnuji Ki Rasoi, Bajaj Nagar, Nagpur. Starting at 8 AM on October 27, 2024, this marathon event showcased not only the chef’s unmatched endurance and culinary expertise but also his commitment to community service. The event included free dosa distribution, attracting a large crowd eager to witness history in the making. With no dress code for participants, the celebration was an inclusive and vibrant affair, blending culinary passion with community engagement.

Shri Ram Bhog Halwa

On the occasion of Shri Ram Navami, Chef Vishnu Manohar prepared 10,000 kg of Shri Ram Bhog Halwa in Baramati. The event, hosted by Shri Ajitdada Pawar, celebrated the religious festival with a grand offering of halwa as prasad. The event brought the community together to honour the birth of Lord Ram, symbolising devotion, tradition, and spirituality. The preparation of such a large quantity of halwa reflected the scale of devotion and the deep cultural significance of the festival in India.

Ekta Misal

Another grand-scale preparation of Ekta Misal occurred on Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti, with 10,000 kg of the dish being cooked and served in Pune. Organised by Loksewa Pratisthan, this event honoured Ambedkar’s contributions to social equality and justice. Ajitdada Pawar was present as the chief guest, highlighting the importance of preserving and promoting Ambedkar’s values. Ekta Misal

In celebration of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jayanti, Chef Vishnu Manohar prepared 10,000 kg of Ekta Misal in Pune. This event, organised by Loksewa Pratisthan, served as a tribute to Phule’s legacy of social reform and unity. The preparation of Misal, a popular Maharashtrian dish, symbolised the coming together of communities to celebrate equality and social justice. Chief guests Ajitdada Pawar and Chandrakant Patil praised the initiative for fostering unity and promoting the values of Phule through the universal language of food.

Maha Cake

To encourage youth participation in the voting process, a 15ft x 5ft Maha Cake was prepared at the Nagpur Collector’s Office. The cake, weighing 250 kg, was part of an awareness campaign aimed at first-time voters. The event sought to emphasise the importance of voting and civic responsibility among the youth. Police Commissioner Ashok Singhal attended as the chief guest, underscoring the critical role of engaging younger generations in the democratic process. The massive cake served as a fun and delicious way to inspire civic engagement and ensure higher voter turnout.

Shri Ram Bhog Mahaprasad

On the occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti and Golwalkar Guruji Jayanti, Chef Vishnu Manohar prepared 7000 kg of Shri Ram Bhog Mahaprasad in Ayodhya. Millets Urja Bajra Khichd

In collaboration with the Krushi Vibhag (Agriculture Department) of Maharashtra Government, Chef Vishnu Manohar prepared 6750 kg of Millets Urja Bajra Khichdi in Chandrapur. The event, aimed at raising awareness about millets as a superfood, set a new record in both the India Book and Asia Book of Records. The khichdi, made from bajra (pearl millet), highlighted the nutritional benefits of millets, which are rich in fibre, proteins, and essential minerals. Shri Sudhir Mungantiwar was the chief guest, further underscoring the government’s commitment to promoting healthier food choices through such initiatives.

Masale Bhaat - Adiwasi Bandhu Delisting

On November 21, 2023, Chef Vishnu Manohar prepared 10,000 kg of Masale Bhaat to honour and facilitate the Adiwasi Bandhu community during their Delisting March in Nagpur. 375 Kg Rice in 75 Varieties

As part of the Aazadi ka Amrut Mahotsav celebrations, Chef Vishnu Manohar prepared 375 kg of rice in 75 different varieties in Nagpur. The event commemorated India’s 75 years of independence by showcasing the versatility of a staple ingredient—rice—in numerous regional and innovative dishes. Chief guests like District Collector R. Khichdi - Chitnavis Park

52 Hours Non-Stop Cooking

Over the course of 52 continuous hours, Chef Vishnu Manohar cooked an astounding 750 vegetarian dishes to set a world record, making Nagpur proud. This event highlighted the richness of Indian vegetarian cuisine, while testing the chef’s endurance, skill, and passion. It garnered widespread attention with distinguished guests including Devendra Fadnavis, Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Vijay Babu Darda, Sachin Kurve, and Dr. Venkatesham in attendance. Long Kabab - 8 ft Long
